Animation Evaluation
As The SpongeBob SquarePants Series progresses the animation improves over time.
Season 1- traditional cel animation character designs are rough contrast is dark.
Season 2- Series switches to digital ink & Paint colors are smoother contrast is slighty brighter than Season 1.
Season 3-Colors are more vivid and outlines are thicker.
Season 4-Colors get duller contast gets brighter series switches to 3-D computer coloring.
Season 5-Animation gets warmer colors are very vivid
Season 6-Animation gets stiffer colors are cool and outlines get thicker.
Season 7-The colors are duller contarst is very high.
Season 8-Colors are slighty more vivid than Season 7 and contrast gets lower as the season progresses.
Season 9- Episodes are now being produced in HD Widescreen colors get warmer and more vivid and colors are bright.
