Mother Knows Best

Mother Knows Best is a 2006 SpongeBob book written by Sarah Wilson. It is about SpongeBob being given a TV show after talking about how much he loves his mom.

Plot

SpongeBob ends a day at the Krusty Krab and walks home. Near his house, SpongeBob meets a sad news reporter who tells him he is about to be fired from his job as a reporter because of grossness issues on his videos. To help the man, SpongeBob tells him about how much he loves his mother. The reporter sees SpongeBob as a talent and hires him aboard his team, starting a TV show for SpongeBob about mothers called "Mother Knows Best." SpongeBob's confidence is fueled by his mom being proud of her son and becomes a huge celebrity. SpongeBob resigns his job at the Krusty Krab and prepares his life as a celebrity. However because of a misunderstanding (caused by a dimwitted Patrick) SpongeBob thinks his mother is no longer proud of him and loses his confidence. Can SpongeBob fix his show before he is fired?
