The Elastic Waistband is a superhero that appeared only in the fifth episode of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. He is, in fact, Patrick. It all started when Barnacle Boy became a villian. He decided to help Mermaid Man defeat him, so he put on a superhero costume and became a superhero. The good thing was that the costume came with a super power. The Elastic Waistband's power is:
- Flexability; he can bend into different shapes and sizes.
