The Alphabet Song is a song heard in the episode Plankton! when the eponymous character accidentally plays this instead of his evil soundtrack. The full version of it was first heard on YouTube in 2010. The song is sung by Peter Gosling (though in the episode's closing credits, Carolyn Lawrence is mistakenly credited).
Lyrics
Letters of the alphabet, A-B-C, Like 1-2-3, A-B-C.
Letters of the alphabet make words to say, Words that we use every day.
A is for apple growing on a tree. B is for ball that goes bouncy, bouncy, whee! C is for cat sitting on a mat. Now fancy that. (Meow!)
D is for dog sitting on a log. E is for egg sitting up in bed. F is for fish swimming in the sea. I would like that to be me.
Letters of the alphabet, A-B-C, Like 1-2-3, A-B-C.
Letters of the alphabet make words to say, Words that we use every day.

Trivia
- A different version of the song is heard when Plankton uses his record player in the video games Operation: Krabby Patty and Employee of the Month.
- Patrick sings the traditional song in the mirror in I'm with Stupid and speeds up his singing when his "parents" arrive.
- The recording heard in the episode "Plankton!" comes from a stock music album, Kids Kids Kids - Part One, released by British music library KPM Music in 1996. It is track 18 on the album.
- Despite the fact that this song is called "The Alphabet Song," which would mean that it should cover letters A-Z, it only covers letters A-F.
