==Plot==
The episode starts out with [[Jellyfish Fields]]. SpongeBob and Patrick are Jellyfishing, when suddenly a herd of Whelks come into town and run over SpongeBob and Patrick with their jelly-like slime. SpongeBob cleans himself and Patrick off. Soon, Bikini Bottom is in peril! Patrick tries to stand up to them, but he gets too scared when one of the sea whelks growls at him. The sea whelks chase them to the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs takes this as an opportunity and tries to get the sea whelks to buys something. They swallow Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob and Patrick go to hide at Sandy's house, but the treedome gets destroyed. Sandy gets eaten, and so do SpongeBob and Patrick. When they get inside the sea whelks' stomach, they see the Krusty Krab and run there for shelter. Everyone who got swallowed is there. Sandy tells them that the whelks have been attacking the town because they have a disease. SpongeBob uses his absorbently to cure the biggest whelk and soon, the other ones. The cured whelks are now smaller; the "giant" is actually the mother of the younger ones. Squidward grabs one of the whelks and it covers him in slime as the episode ends.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*This is the first time Sandy's treedome is destroyed.
*It is revealed that SpongeBob's mother's maiden name is Bubblebottom.
*Suds is mentioned in this episode.
*When SpongeBob is cleaning up the whelks, in the first shot, the mother is in his right hand, but in the next shot, as he's finished cleaning the baby whelks, the mother isn't in his hand, but on the ground.
*When Sandy says "If I can analize it, I might be deduce the cause of their behavior!", she has five toes instead of three.
