The Ick is a fungus that is highly contegous, and is seen in the episode Fungus Among Us. Everyone in the Krusty Krab had the Ick, but Gary the Snail cleaned it off of everyone. This made mr. Krabs rich becuase then Gary was hired by Mr. Krabs to De - Ick people for 5 dollars. The Ick is one of the most venomous diseases in Bikini Bottom. It was first discovered in the year when Fungus Among Us occured.
Brief Info
Gary is revealed to eat the Ick, and usually, it might have been well known to him. The Ick is a bad food, and bottom feeders enjoy eating it. SpongeBob noticed it, and got it on his head. Then, he tried using hair shampoo but it didn't work. Then, he goes tot the Krusty Krab, and the Ick is very itchy. The Ick covers most of SpongeBob's skin and arms. However, Squidward has noticed him, and calls the SWAT team to take him away. SpongeBob decides to swipe his head with a sweat making him just do "That was close!", and the piece of the Ick goes on top of Squidward's head.
Squidward gives Old Man Jenkins his change, but also the Ick. Mr. Krabs also is worried about the Krabby Patties not being cooked. Squidward wipes and tries to get all the Ick out of his arms, but this spreads the Ick to the Krabby Patties. Squidward gives the people the Ick-infected Krabby Patties, causing the customers to get the Ick too.
Back at SpongeBob's House, Patrick pops SpongeBob's Ick-defending bubble, but blows him a new one. SpongeBob goes back to the Krusty Krab, and becomes even more infected with the Ick. The people try to get SpongeBob, but they pop his bubble, causing a furicious Ick explosion. It was not until Gary arrived at the Krusty Krab, and started eating all the Ïck out of the Krusty Krab.

- It can only be removed by someone or something eating it.
- The Ick is very similar to germs, as it can reproduce and cause the victim to not feel well.
- So far, the Ick is only seen in one episode: Fungus Among Us
- If the Ick remains on the victim for a certain period of time, it causes that victim to look bigger than usual.
- Noticing how it spreads by itchiness, it seems to also be based on Poison Ivy.
