Alan Smart is an animator and an animation director best known for his work for SpongeBob SquarePants and as a director, assistant director and layout artist with The Simpsons. He also did animation on the show CatDog, Hey Arnold!, Rocko's Modern Life and The Ren and Stimpy Show.
