Alan Smart is an animator and an animation director best known for his work for SpongeBob SquarePants and as a director, assistant director and layout artist with The Simpsons. He also did animation on the show CatDog, Hey Arnold!, Rocko's Modern Life and The Ren and Stimpy Show.
He has also done animation on three animated films: The Little Mermaid, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and Oliver & Company.
