*Hello, this is AMK152 from the SpongeBob SquarePants Wikia. I have noticed that there has been recent discussion here about the many SpongeBob wikis.

*1. I respect the idea that there are people who don't want SpongePedia to merge with any other wiki. 
*2. The information on the SpongeBob SquarePants Wikia was from Wikipedia. In early 2007, a user on Wikipedia started making arguements that single episode articles on Wikipedia was unneeded. Since SpongeBob had over 150 episode articles on Wikipedia, there was a chance that these articles would no longer exist. On May 14, 2007, the episode articles were redirected to the main episode list. Also, the main episode list had too many fair-use images on it, and so all the images on the main episode list were removed. Before the articles were redirected, I took a last minute step and saved all title cards on Wikipedia to my computer. These title cards were later deleted from Wikipedia and I put them on the Wikia. I went to the SpongeBob SquarePants Wikia, which had very little activity on it. I took the articles from Wikipedia and moved them to the Wikia. I did the same to the video game, character, and places articles. The information on the SpongeBob SquarePants Wikia was either from Wikipedia or added by other users. The transcripts on the Wikia were either typed up by users or taken from Quote sections that were deleted back in late 2006/earlyany other wiki. I looked at some of the articles here too and saw that they were from Wikipedia, and others were created solely by the users of SpongePedia.
*3. The last thing any of these wikis should do is wage war. We don't need to be fighting each other. Can't we be friends? I don't want to see this get ugly, because war hurts everyone.
