Monty P. Moneybags

Monty P. Moneybags is the world-famous art collector from Artist Unknown. Squidward considers him a role model for his art, which is terrible. Monty is greatly impressed by the statue SpongeBob makes (which Squidward said was his own). At the end of the episode, Monty tells a recreation center janitor that he is the greatest artist who ever lived.

[edit] Appearance

Monty has orange skin, purple lips and a big pointy mustache. He has a light blue shirt, a blue tie, an orange & yellow plaid jacket, a green flower on his jacket, and some expensive brown pants.

[edit] Trivia/Goofs

  • He calls Squidward's art "Belongs in the Trash" ("Bold & Brash") because Squidward's art is terrible.
  • In the episode "Fools in April", the Art Dealer was mentioned, it is possible that the art dealer was Monty.
  • While "Moneybags" is used in several pop culture situations, the most famous may be Uncle Moneybags, from the board game "Monopoly". This may be a reference, as Monopoly's Moneybags also has a mustache.
  • Monty Moneybags is also the name of a Simpsons Tapped Out costume for Mr. Burns.
