She appears in the webseries Hoyay, where she first gets the name "Flare" (she is the "pet" of the main character, Kondo). Before that, she was called "Fire Wick" or just "Fire". However, the name "Flare" was used a year before Hoyay was launched.
She also makes a cameo in the Tumblr webcomic "2 Broke Piratesses".
