"Back to the Past" is an episode from Season 7.

Plot

SpongeBob and Patrick go back in time to see Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy when they were younger, and end up changing present-day Bikini Bottom into a city Man Ray is ruler. They go back in a box they find somewhere, and while Patrick screams and they go back to the past. Then they find Squilliam putting a poster of Man Ray ruling. SpongeBob and Patrick freak out when they go to the Krusty Krab and find out that past Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are dead! And that present Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are working at the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob then convinces Mermaid Man to fight Man Ray, but he thinks Man Rat is the evil bubble. When SpongeBob and Patrick go back to the present, they find that past Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are there! along with another version on SpongeBob and Patrick with present Mermaid Man and Barnacle boy. Man Ray then shows up and tries to defeat all the other versions. Then a lot more Patricks, SpongeBon's and Mermaid man's and Barnacle Boys come. Then another Man Ray comes and tries ot defeat all the other but they defeat each other. In the end, they all attack thousand of Patricks SpongeBobs show up, closing the episode.

Trivia/Goofs

The title is a pun on the movie Back to the Future.
Where did all those SpongeBobs, Patricks, MermaidMans, BarnacleBoys, and Man Rays come from?
Where did all the alternate SpongeBobs, Patricks , Mermaid Mans, Barnacle Boys, and Man Rays get all those boxes?
Why did Squilliam work for Man Ray, if he just could have given him money so they freed him.
The younger Mermaidman is voiced by Adam West.
