==Plot==
SpongeBob and Sandy are relaxing, looking at the flower shaped clouds until they talk about who would win a race to the top of the big mountain. So Sandy challenges SpongeBob to a mountain-climbing contest, SpongeBob blabs on, not knowing that Sandy is already half way there. SpongeBob hurries on after, and it looks like he got up there before Sandy, but Sandy still wins. SpongeBob then challenges Sandy to a running race to the Krusty Krab, and Sandy blabs on, not knowing that SpongeBob was halfway there. Sandy catches up, and it looks like she wins, but SpongeBob wins instead.

Sandy gets angry because it was not fair and keeps saying that land creatures are better than sea creatures with hurtful examples, and the sea creatures do things that Sandy can't do. She is angered by Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward's jokes, she takes off her helmet and her suit. She eventually cannot breathe, and uses a pickle jar as a substitute. Sandy then feels very insulted and challenges Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward to go above the surface for 1 minute. They do that, but in the process get beaten up by The Seagulls from land. When Sandy goes up to congratulate her, she finds out that the four men are getting beaten up, she beats the seagulls and saves her friends. They float down and apologized and all ends well, except for the Seagulls, whose feathers have been taken off!

==Trivia/Goofs==
*This is the eighth episode that had flowers on the title card.
*When Sandy takes off her anti-pressure suit, she is unaffected by the intense pressure deep underwater.
*This is the only episode where all SpongeBob, Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Patrick are all shown together as ''real creatures''.
*SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Patrick were on the island for thirty or so more seconds than 1 minute.
*When Sandy tries to hold her breath underwater she tears her suit off. However, she has it back on in the next scene.
*In the episode [[Tea at the Treedome]], SpongeBob and Patrick nearly die when they are in Sandy's house, but when they are above water, the air does not seem to affect them. This is probably because Sandy's Treedome does not have moist air, unlike an island surrounded by water which would have moist air, which would explain why SpongeBob and Patrick did not dry up until they were under the heating lamp in [[The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie]].
*When Sandy says, "Yeah, well this is an accident", the rocks change color as Sandy pushes them down.

But Patrick has seen Sandy like this before, so therefore he was probobaly being dumb.

==Plot==
The [[Krusty Krab]] is filled with cobwebs and even a skeleton, and has had no customers in weeks. One man crawls in claiming that he has not had any food or drink in 3 days. SpongeBob immediately gives him a Krabby Patty, and the stranger refuses. He says that there's no atmosphere in the Krusty Krab, and resumes his search for food and a theme. Mr. Krabs needs an idea, and SpongeBob gives him one. He thinks of 'Pretty Patties', which are [[Krabby Patties]], except they come in a variety of colors. Squidward and Mr. Krabs laugh at him, and say that it's a terrible idea. They even create other ideas such as sequin milkshakes and bowtie French fries to mock SpongeBob, which angers him. He makes a stall by his home selling Pretty Patties and business goes up (albeit after quite a while). Mr. Krabs sees this on the news and decides to take a look. SpongeBob is now serving the 46,853rd customer and had a large sum of money, in fact, that he was giving it away (which of course, allowed them to get back in line to buy more Pretty Patties). Mr. Krabs says that he's never had that many customers in such a small amount of time. He gives SpongeBob the Krusty Krab in exchange for the 'Pretty Patties' stall (as SpongeBob missed the Krusty Krab). However, all the customers want a refund when the Pretty Patties turn them different colors, and start chasing Mr. Krabs around. He calls to SpongeBob for help, but he can't hear him because he's concentrating on the squeaky pickles.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*This episode was originally called "Pretty Patties".
*In earlier showings of this episode, including the version available on iTunes, SpongeBob's first customer eats a blue patty instead of a purple one. Now when this episode is shown on TV, he eats a purple patty.
*When the man who had not eaten in three days leaves the Krusty Krab because it is too boring, you can hear him moan "Food...Water...Atmosphere..." However, the man is already underwater and therefore could not be dying of thirst.
*In Tom's first appearance in this episode, he is light green. But when Mr. Krabs is burying himself alive, Tom can be seen in the crowd and he is his normal color.
*The idea of inflatable pants was later used in the episode [[The Sponge Who Could Fly]]. Like in this episode, the idea is laughed at by the rest of the town at first, and both pants eventually pop.
*A very similar episode to this is called [[Best Frenemies]]. only that this time it has Plankton and Patrick is absent.
*Patty Hype is the partner and second episode in the episode pair with [[Wormy]]. However, sometimes, Patty Hype is the first episode and the second episode after it is not Wormy.

==Plot==
The day (March 6, 2017) starts off quite well for Squidward. He is about to practice his [[Clarinet]] when SpongeBob's alarm clock (facing out the window) knocks the clarinet inside Squidward's mouth, and SpongeBob asks Squidward if he wants to go jellyfishing. Squidward tries to reply, but because his clarinet is in his mouth, anything he says is incomprehensible, and SpongeBob thinks he said "yes". After Squidward takes his clarinet out of his mouth, Squidward is constantly bothered in his house by SpongeBob and Patrick who want to go jellyfishing with him. Squidward, in an attempt to stop SpongeBob and Patrick bothering him, tells SpongeBob that he should be at work, but SpongeBob tells him that it is a Sunday, and the Krusty Krab is closed on Sundays.

Squidward tells SpongeBob and Patrick to stay where they are, and goes out the back door of his house and goes into the Krusty Krab. He sees SpongeBob and Patrick looking for him, and goes into the kitchen. SpongeBob and Patrick are still looking for him, so he goes into the freezer. After SpongeBob and Patrick go away, Squidward is frightened to find that the handle is jammed, and that he is stuck inside the freezer. He assures himself that someone will find him.

Unfortunately, this is not true and 2000 years later (on March 6, 4017) , the door falls down and a frozen Squidward is defrosted by 'SpongeTron', a descendant of SpongeBob. Squidward finds out that everything in the future (except for people) is made entirely of chrome, and all organic life forms that aren't people (such as seaweed or kelp) are simply spray-painted chrome. SpongeTron introduces Squidward to his clones; X, Y, and Z. SpongeTron informs Squidward that there are ''486'' SpongeTrons in response to the the question asked by Squidward "Are the other letters of the alphabet involved, here?", meaning that the English alphabet has been expanded, merged with another character set, or (most likely) it was hyperbole by the animators to make the future more complex. Squidward decides that he hates the future, so SpongeTron directs him to a time machine, which is actually a small room with a control panel. Squidward uses the time machine (shortly after meeting Patron, a two-headed descendant of Patrick) to travel to the prehistoric past, ripping the entire room out of the building in the process.

He meets Primitive Sponge and Prehistoric Starfish, whom are the ancestors of SpongeBob and Patrick. Squidward tells them about jellyfishing because they keep on torturing themselves with jellyfish. They seem to be interested, but are driven crazy by Squidward's clarinet, and chase after him. He goes into the time machine, but it malfunctions, and he goes to a very strange place with abstract shapes and no characters or setting (it is possibly an alternate universe, another dimension, or a time warp, but Squidward calls it 'nowhere'). After he finds the time machine, he begs it to return to the present, which it does, but Squidward finds out that in his travels, he invented jellyfishing. The episode ends when Squidward says "I'm going back."

== Trivia/Goofs ==
*This is the another episode in Season 1 for Squidward to be a main character.
*The episode, which arises from Squidward time traveling and inventing the game of jellyfishing while seeking to avoid SpongeBob and Patrick as they want him to jellyfish with them, is an example of a time paradox known as a causal loop. Plus, a person is inspired or driven by an event to time travel and, whether or not intentionally, causes the event which will facilitate their initial time traveling trip.
*This is the first (and only) episode in which the title was spoken when the title card was shown. This is also one of the ten episodes in which the title card has an animation.
