Cuddle E. Hugs (character)

Cuddle E. Hugs is a character that so far only appears in the episode of the same name. Cuddle E. Hugs is actually the result of a hallucination which was induced by eating rotten "Aged Krabby Patties". The "E", it was revealed, stands for "Eat". In his lone (as of now) appearance, Cuddle E. Hugs was voiced by Jeff Garlin.

Looks
Cuddle E. Hugs is a giant fluffy hamster with a small green hat.

Personality
He was initially nice to SpongeBob (being the only person who could see him) and became his "new best friend", which provokes Patrick's jealousy and sends him into a fit of rage at nothing. Cuddle E. Hugs later appears to everyone in the Krusty Krab when SpongeBob sold everyone Aged Patties, causing the same hallucination. Cuddle E. Hugs then turns into an evil version of himself with sharp teeth and begins devouring the customers. After apparently sleeping off the effects of the patties, everyone leaves, unable to see him anymore. SpongeBob later meets with Cuddle E. Hugs again (where he revealed the "E" in his name was for "Eat" because he's always hungry) and feeds him an Aged Patty, which apparently sends him back to being a regular hamster in a cage.

|}
Potty the Parrot is a Patchy the Pirate's puppet friend. Potty is a little argumentative and often makes fun of Patchy. The viewers are constantly reminded that Potty is a puppet with very obvious strings and big googly eyes.

From 2000 to 2004, Potty was voiced by the creator of SpongeBob himself, Stephen Hillenburg. After Hillenburg left the show, Paul Tibbitt took over the role. Since Tibbitt also left the show, Doug Lawrence has taken over as Potty's third voice.
Character biography
As Patchy's pet
Potty is usually torturing Patchy. Patchy constantly is annoyed by Potty, though Potty has all the good ideas. Potty would usually say "Squawk!" which bothers Patchy, almost as if Patchy didn't know it was a common noise made by parrots.

Running Gag
There have been a few instances where the viewer needs to be reminded that Potty is a puppet. Mysteriously, Potty is usually back to normal in only a few minutes. A few of these reminders are seen below:

* In "Christmas Who?," Patchy the pirate cuts the strings that Potty is attached to.
* In that same episode, Patchy also pulls on the strings, causing what seems to be Potty's puppeteer falling from the ceiling.
* Again, in the same episode, Potty eats so much cookie dough. The bird's entire body fell from the weight, leaving just a head.
* Again, in the same episode, at the end, when Patchy claims there is a mistletoe, Potty tries to kiss Patchy.
* In the end of special segment entitled "Patchy's Pick," Potty is blown up by dynamite.
* In every Potty appearance, you can clearly see the puppet strings above the bird.
* In Ugh, Potty keeps arguing with Patchy that the future is better than the past by even building a robot named X-29488 & wearing futuristic metal equipment.

SpongeBob eats a rotten Krabby Patty, which causes him to hallucinate and see a giant, fluffy hamster named Cuddle E. Hugs, who introduces himself as SpongeBob's "new best friend". The two walk around town, but SpongeBob is the only one who can see him. Patrick is jealous and is thrown into a fit of rage. Sandy can’t see him either. So SpongeBob begins selling "Aged Patties" in a booth at the Krusty Krab, eventually causing everyone in the restaurant to see and cherish Cuddle E. Hugs. He turns evil, however, and begins eating customers and terrorizing the Krusty Krab. Later, after waking up and finding they were no longer being eaten alive by the giant hamster, everyone leaves except for SpongeBob, who visits Cuddle E. one more time, this time feeding him a rotten Aged Patty and apparently sending Cuddle E. Hugs back to being a regular hamster in a cage.

Trivia/Goofs
However, love that belongs to SpongeBob cannot be given away by anyone other than SpongeBob, because love is an invisible concept and not a concrete noun.
*Squidward does not eat the Aged Patties at all, which means he could not see Cuddle E. Hugs.

*SpongeBob's House

Plot
SpongeBob eats a rotten Krabby Patty, which causes him to hallucinate and see a giant, fluffy hamster named Cuddle E. Hugs, who introduces himself as SpongeBob’s “new best friend”. The two walk around town, but SpongeBob is the only one who can see him. Patrick is jealous and is thrown into a fit of rage. Sandy can’t see him either. So SpongeBob begins selling “Aged Patties” in a booth at the Krusty Krab, eventually causing everyone in the restaurant to see and cherish Cuddle E.

Cuddle E. Hugs
Cuddle E. Hugs is a character that appears only in the episode Cuddle E. Hugs.
Cuddle E. Hugs was actually the result of a hallucination which was induced by eating rotten “Aged Krabby Patties”. The “E”, it was revealed, stands for “Eat”.

Appearance/Personality
Cuddle E. Hugs was a giant fluffy hamster with a small green hat. He was initially nice to SpongeBob (being the only person who could see him) and became his “new best friend”, which provoked Patrick’s jealousy and sent him into a fit of rage at nothing. Cuddle E. Hugs later appeared to everyone in the Krusty Krab when SpongeBob sold everyone Aged Patties, causing the same hallucination. Cuddle E. Hugs then turned into an evil version of himself with sharp teeth and began devouring the customers. After apparently sleeping off the effects of the patties, everyone left, unable to see him anymore. SpongeBob later met with Cuddle E. Hugs again (where he revealed “E” in his name was for “Eat” because he’s always hungry) and fed him an Aged Patty, which turned him back into a regular hamster in a cage.
