'''Dennis''' was a paid assassin hired by [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] in the [[The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie]]. He is one of the main antagonists of the movie, other then Plankton.

===History===
He was a mercenary who was hired by [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] to kill [[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick Star|Patrick]]. The reason being that [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] stole [[King Neptune]]'s crown and tricked [[King Neptune]] into believing the crime was committed by [[Eugene H. Krabs]], so [[King Neptune]] threatened to execute [[Eugene H. Krabs|Mr. Krabs]] (via burning by fire) unless the crown was to be retrieved within a period of 6 days; [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]], obviously, wanted [[Eugene H. Krabs|Mr. Krabs]] to die of a painful and wrongful execution, and upon learning [[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick Star|Patrick]]'s journey to get the crown back, he sent Dennis to stop them before they reached [[Shell City]].

[[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick Star|Patrick]], after surviving the "deep, dark, dangerous, hazardous and monster-infested trench", encountered Dennis for the first time. Just as Dennis was about to kill them with his "big" spiky boot, he ended up stepped on by the Cyclops' "bigger boot". After what happened at [[Shell City]], [[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick Star|Patrick]] hitch a ride on the [[David Hasselhoff]], who speedily swims through the ocean in order to send them back to [[Bikini Bottom]]. During the middle of the swim, [[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick Star|Patrick]] see the boot of the Cyclops approaching Hasselhoff. Dennis enters the scene, revealing that he is still alive. He tries to kill [[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick Star|Patrick]], but fails to do so. He was hit in the face by an overpass Hasselhoff ducked under water but Dennis is killed.

*The word "Dennis" backwards is "sinned".
*It is unknown if when he was hit by the boat he had his head decapitated or he just fell into the ocean though seeing as how it doenst show him falling it is possibly the former.
*There wasn't a scene in the movie where [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] employs Dennis, or one where [[Sheldon J. Plankton|Plankton]] meets Dennis. Either both the ideas became deleted scenes that weren't put on the DVD of the movie for some reason, or they chose to remove it and not put it on any disc or add it on any airing of the movie.
